Personalized Playing Cards

This was a personal project that I worked on to use as gifts for my friends and family. With each deck, I chose a theme that each person would like, and illustrated that theme in a style that both complimented the theme and the person. As with any other project I do, I researched each theme to help me better understand it, so that I could design a better deck. Next I created sketches to further refine my concepts before creating the final artwork. These decks are functional, and make Crazy Eight's that much more fun to play!
