This is a conceptual food truck finder app created by myself and my team. We conducted a lot of user research to help us create a good user interface and user experience. We used moodboards and wireframes to create a visually appealing style and a useful interface. After we made our coloured mock-ups, we created clickable prototypes and preformed more user research to help us make more improvements. Overall, our app is able to cater to nearly any situation, and creates a good user experience.

My team and I conducted in depth research before we began designing, and throughout the design process. We began with a competitor analysis to find the pros and cons of existing food truck finder apps. After, we did a literature review to learn more about food trucks and their appeal. Next, we did an aesthetic assessment to figure out the style that our fictional client preferred. We also made a moodboard to help create a cohesive brand and a consistent style. Once we had finished researching food trucks and relating apps, we then preformed some user research in the form of an online survey. We discovered that most people did not did not go to food trucks because there were none nearby their homes or workplace. Because of this we decided to put a map on the home page of the app to attract more users to nearby food trucks. After we had created a clickable prototype of our app, we conducted focus groups to test it. From this, we learned that some of our buttons were too close together and made the necessary changes to improve the interface of our app.
